This year’s Record Store Day is almost upon us and we will be making our price lists available very soon.
Record Store Day rules are the same every year; you cannot pre-order or reserve stock and all sales are over the counter only. On the day we can’t take phone or online orders. You probably need to set the alarm and make sure you are here nice and early (we will be open from 8:30am). All stock is sold on a first come first served basis and customers cannot buy more than one copy of any individual Record Store Day release. There are no strict restrictions of the numbers of different items that can be purchased.
We will be opening at 8:30am on Saturday, one hour earlier than normal. There is usually a queue outside the shop on Record Store Day, so please be prepared to wait to be served. We would also advise having some warm clothing on if you arrive early. It can be pretty cold at that time of day!
As in previous years we will be giving the first 50 people in the queue the option of reserving a first choice item from the Record Store Day list. This will be saved for when you get to the counter where further purchases can be made.
No customer can purchase more than one copy of any of the Record Store Day releases.
We look forward to seeing some of you on Saturday 22nd April. Lots of stock has been ordered so hopefully most people will be able to get the releases they want.
Please note : Customers cannot pre-order or reserve any of the Record Store Day releases, they are sold on a first come first served basis on. The only way to purchase stock is by coming down to the shop.
If there is any stock left over this will be made available to purchase on our website one week later (Saturday 29th April).
