Courteeners album launch gigs. Very important information.

We are now just 1 day away from the Courteeners album launch gigs at Leeds Beckett. In order to ensure everyone has a great time we need you to carefully read through the contents of this post.

If you have not already picked up your tickets, please do so either today or tomorrow (opening hours 9:30am – 6pm). Someone can pick tickets up on your behalf as long as they have full order information (name, address, phone number, last 4 digits of card if one was used).

There are 2 shows tomorrow night; EARLY – Doors 6:30pm and LATE – Doors 9pm. Both performances will start promptly once we have everyone inside the venue. There is no support act.

There is no entry to the event without a ticket, please ensure you have yours with you. NO TICKET – NO ENTRY.

And finally, we have this information from the venue, which needs to be read and understood by everybody. This is a relatively small indoor space and the safety of all those who attend is of paramount importance…….

Please be aware that it is a criminal offence to attempt entry to the venue while in possession of a flare, smoke bomb, firework, or any other pyrotechnic. Anyone found with such items will be ejected from the venue and reported to the police. There will be searches in place at the venue so please ensure you cooperate with these and avoid bringing any large bags or rucksacks as there will not be a cloakroom in operation for the Courteeners shows.

Crash Records 2019 Album Chart + Freebie Saturday.

After much deliberation we have put together our end of year album chart. Some of the releases on here were big sellers in the shop, others are albums that we have enjoyed listening to during 2019. They reflect the different tastes of all the staff here at Crash.

Our number 1 is Fontaines DC “Dogrel” and this release was one of our very successful album launches this year. We were privileged to put them on at the Brudenell Social Club on the afternoon of Friday 12th April ahead of their sold out gig at the same venue that night. Watch out for more album launch gigs during 2020. Who knows we may bring you next year’s number 1 album!

To celebrate the announcement of our end of year chart we have some free sampler CDs to give away on a first come first served basis on Saturday 14th December, including a very nice Republic Of Music double CD which contains 43 tracks of new music from this year. Just go to the ground floor counter and pick up a freebie.

We also have a big vinyl sale going on at the moment and we have added more bargain priced titles this week. Definitely worth having a browse.
