Description
Released in 1982 as a single and part of the Everything Went Black era, “TV Party” captures Black Flag’s satirical edge at its peak. With Henry Rollins’ predecessor Keith Morris delivering sardonic vocals, the track lampoons suburban boredom, consumerism, and the numbing effects of television culture. Part punk anthem, part comedy sketch, “TV Party” blends tight, aggressive riffs with irreverent humor, showcasing the band’s ability to confront society while never taking themselves too seriously. It remains one of Black Flag’s most iconic and culturally pointed statements
