Ano Sabatico is an album by Arthus Fochi, a songwriter originally from Rio de
Janeiro, known for his poetic lyrics and fusion of Brazilian music with jazz
and Latin folk
Blending samba, bolero, cha-cha, and improvisational elements, the album features
special collaborations with standout voices from Brazil's new generation, such as
Latin Grammy award winning Ana Frango Eletrico, Juliana Linhares, Chico Chico, and
Livia Nestrovisk . It is a textured journey through colourful arrangements, diverse
instrumentation and unique sonic textures - blending Brazilian rhythms, jazz, and
Latin folk.
