There are a few records and bands that move the cultural needle, and even fewer that continue evolving beyond a moment in time. Cub Sport are a band that represent so many social and musical movements, and their 2017 sophomore album “Bats” signified a shift from the normative indie music that covered the airwave to the vulnerable, pop-filtered sound that has dominated ever since.
Impressed is proud to reissue this important album with a bonus 7" filled with 3 unreleased tracks. “Bats” is a classic. It was the shift to the Cub Sport sound we all know and love today. We have all fallen in love, we have all had our hearts broken, we all reflect on our life and choices. And Cub Sport brought all these feels to a record laden with catchy hooks and emotive grooves that get stuck in your head and move your feet.
