From underground club anthems to crossover hits, every track showcases their unique fusion of attitude, electronic experimentation and dancefloor-ready grooves.These singles not only defined an era but also laid the foundations for the alternative dance and indie scenes that followed.
CD1 presents the fully remastered original singles that bridged the worlds of postpunk and electronic dance, capturing a band whose fearless experimentation defined both Factory Records and the wider Manchester scene. These tracks stand as milestones in the evolution of British music, embodying the spirit of a cultural momentthat resonated far beyond the clubs and charts of the late 1980s and early 1990s.
CD2 dives deeper into the transformative power of the remix. Featuring classic reworks from Paul Oakenfold, Andrew Weatherall and Terry Farley - figures whowere themselves instrumental in shaping the UK’s clubland revolution - alongside a selection of more recent reinterpretations from Greg Wilson, Ewan Pearson andmore.
Adding even more depth, the remastered 2LP edition also features classic remixes from legendary producers Paul Oakenfold, Andrew Weatherall and Terry Farley.
