 A compilation of reworks of Haruomi Hosono’siconic solo debut, ‘Hosono House’, celebrating 50years since its release. This compilation seesmusicians from the Stones Throw roster andbeyond offer up their own interpretations ofHosono’s songs.

 Haruomi Hosono is the legendary artist bestknown for ‘Hosono House’ and his tenure in theseminal band Yellow Magic Orchestra.

 ‘Hosono House’ still sounds as fresh as it did in1973. Its impact stretches far beyond Japan, withan unexpected surge of interest when Harry Stylescited it as a leading inspiration for his GRAMMYAward-winning album, ‘Harry’s House’.

 Participating artists include Sam Gendel, JohnCarroll Kirby featuring The Mizuhara Sisters (Kiko& Yuka), Pearl & The Oysters, Jerry Paper,Cornelius, Akiko Yano and more.
