Inspired by the secluded Bairro Saavedra courtyard where he grew up in Rio de Janeiro, Fabiano do Nascimento’s VILA is a warm,

nostalgic collaboration with a sixteen-piece orchestra led by arranger Vittor Santos. Recorded between Rio and Los Angeles,

the album places Do Nascimento’s delicate guitar at the heart of sweeping, conversational orchestral arrangements,

blending Brazilian tradition with jazz and experimental influences.
