Across the syncopated dance tracks, ethereal soundscapes, and steady backbeats, are tales of anguish, love, uprising, and healing. Ten tracks that expose and celebrate the human spirit.
Yacoub engineered, produced, and mixed the entirety of the album, ensuring the meticulously layered sound appreciated by fans of his debut “Living High in the Brass Empire”. We are reunited with Travis Klein, Bradley Nash, and Wesley Etienne, his inimitable horn section not to be missed on record or on stage. Featuring the rising voices of Divina Jasso and Lourdes Iri on half of the tracks, “A Way In” has no shortage of stand-out singles that will carry you from morning into night.
