Mexican-born singer, songwriter, and producer Girl Ultra (Mariana de Miguel) continues to redefine

one of Mexico’s most forward-thinking artists, she has become a leading voice in a new wave

RRRomeo is Girl Ultra’s most ambitious and transformative project to date. Co-produced
alongside the legendary funk duo Chromeo, the album was recorded between Mexico City and
Los Angeles and draws inspiration from synth-pop, house, darkwave, indie rock, city-pop, and
analog funk. Across eight tracks, Girl Ultra blends shimmering nostalgia with modern production,
creating a bold and cinematic sound that reflects both her cultural roots and artistic evolution.
Featuring collaborations with Buscabulla, Chromeo, Jean Tonique, and Empress Of, RRRomeo
is a fearless statement from an artist pushing beyond genre boundaries and firmly establishing her
place at the forefront of contemporary Latin alternative music.
