Orbital" is a neotropical psychedelic journey, skillfully weaving vintage Brazilian influences into a tapestry of immersive fusion soundscapes. An album that effortlessly transitions between dynamic grooves, soaring melodies, and satisfying explosions of sound. Rooted in Brazilian rhythms but unafraid to explore new sonic territories, Orbital Ensemble has a unique take on fusion music with a bold, contemporary approach. A brainchild of Brazilian Composer and guitarist Felipe Sena, the band features Toronto jazz heavy-hitters such as Emily Steinwall on flute and saxophone, Jon Catanus & Caleb Klager (Diskarte) on drums and bass, Artu Bastos on nylon guitar, Dan Mclay (Local Dish) and Ana Higuera on percussion and Simon Outhit (OBGMs) on keys.
