The Temperance Movement paved the way for a huge rock revival storming the scene in the
modern era. The impact the band has had on today’s rock devotees and aficionados was
immensely apparent with the announcement of their 2025 tour: sold-out shows, venue upgrades,
and ovations before the band had even played a single note. And all this after half a decade away
from the stage.
In the wake of this triumphant tour, the band received a stream of festival offers and entered the
studio with renowned producer Ethan Johns (Kings of Leon, Laura Marling), cultivating an album of
all-new material: ‘New Promise Land Incorporated’.
‘New Promise Land Incorporated’ deftly marks the new era for the band, rejoicing the reconnection
of five musical soulmates and bringing what fans crave the most to record: an explosion of raw soul
and a live-to-record energy so palpable that it feels as though you’re right in the studio.
The record is a celebration of the power that this British outfit bring to the stage: be it masterfully
creating a rock’n’roll rush so electric that you feel it pulsing through to the tips of your hairs (as in the
psychedelic-tinged “Shadows”) or writing with poignant beauty that brings pin-drop serenity to the
most chaotic of minds (see the tender charm of “Mongrels” and the lyrically stunning “Saving
Grace”).
And with a 21-date tour to follow soon after the album’s release, the rousing spirit of ‘New Promise
