As you may know our shop is pretty tiny so we only have a VERY Limited amount of space available for this show - All you have to do to Guarantee entry is pre order a copy of the album on any format below
No tickets are being issued once ordered your name automatically gets added to our door list
Albums will be ready to be picked from from the release day and can be picked up on the day of the event.
Their fast- rising new era is built around the idea of a night in motion, the perfect
setting for a band whose sound pulls from the fuzzy guitars, garage-rock attitude and
raw energy of alternative '90s. Carving out their own space somewhere between The
Breeders, Hole and The Cranberries, they radiate charm with a healthy dose of chaos
thrown in.
Already tipped by NME, The Line of Best Fit, Rolling Stone UK, Clash and Dork, with
support from BBC Radio 1, BBC 6 Music and Radio X, GIRLBAND! have built a
reputation as one of the most exciting young bands around. More than 200 shows
across the UK and Europe have taken them to Glastonbury, Isle of Wight Festival,
Reeperbahn and The Great Escape, alongside support slots with Sex Pistols, Jake
Bugg, James, Palaye Royale, Destroy Boys and Nxdia. Written in real time while
touring, making friends, falling in and out of love and generally trying to work out what
the hell they're doing, it's a record rooted in the reality of being a young woman today,
love, sex, friendship, heartbreak, money, queerness, womanhood and all the weirdness
in between, moving from euphoric nights out to the difficult moments that follow.
The album feels lived-in, like a house that's seen a lot of party-goers come and go: late
nights, friendships, break-ups, the friend who turns up at your door after a terrible day.
Those everyday moments are where GIRLBAND! find the bigger stories, personal
without taking itself too seriously. And like any good house party, you never quite
know where the night is going to take you. The euphoric moments, the unexpected
connections, the chaos, the comedown, the conversations you'll still be thinking about
