Preoccupations return with Ill At Ease, their fifth album and first for Born Losers Records. Known for their angular, brooding sound, the Canadian post-punk band lean into 1980s and '90s nostalgia while grappling with the psychological strain of contemporary life.

Led by Matt Flegel (formerly of Women), with Scott Munro, Daniel Christiansen and Mike Wallace, the group builds on the sonic foundations of their previous release Arrangements. Lead single ‘Focus’ sets the tone for an album that is equal parts anxious and anthemic, delivered in their signature labyrinthine style.
