Transformation is the brand new album by The Alarm which was written and recorded by lead singer Mike Peters during the final few months of his
life while bravely battling a rare and aggressive cancer known as Richter's Syndrome.
Diagnosed on April 22nd 2024, devastatingly, Mike finally succumbed to this dreadful disease on the 29th April 2025.
Mike faced cancer head on with an unswerving, positive attitude until the last... despite suffering the extreme rigours of the disease and whilst
enduring a brutal treatment regime that unfortunately proved to be unsuccessful.
Transformation by The Alarm is regrettably Mike Peters’ final recorded work.... but it also constitutes Mike's finest output. Positivity, optimism, and
an unparalleled determination to fight for life simply explode from this album, whilst the ever-present themes of Love, Hope and Strength - with
which Mike Peters and The Alarm have become so synonymous - continue to permeate these remarkable new compositions, providing a fitting
testimony to these enduring tenets.
The Transformation album contains a core of fifteen brand new Mike Peters compositions spread across all the media formats including Vinyl, CD,
Digital and Dolby Atmos and will be released officially on 29th May 2026, exactly a year to the day of Mike's funeral.
