Crystal Lake has long been a prominent name in the international metalcore scene. Drawing influences from both metalcore and hardcore, their sound fuses the intensity of both genres into a uniquely heavy and infectious style, especially powerful during their electrifying live performances. While the band has been touring intensively, the first piece of their newest record, 'BlüdGod' (feat. Taylor Barber), was revealed back in May 2024. With features from Jesse Leach (Killswitch Engage), David Simonich (Signs of the Swarm), Taylor Barber (Seven Hours after Violet), Myke Terry (Fire from the Gods, Volumes), and Karl Schubach (Misery Signals), 'The Weight of Sound' shines through its diversity while staying true to the core sound of Crystal Lake's music.
