As part of "CITY POP on VINYL 2026", this project brings a classic Masayoshi Takanaka album - originally released in
2001 on CD and Super Audio CD
- to vinyl for the first time.
Not only is the track selection packed with signature Takanaka classics, but the playing is delivered by an all-star
lineup, and the raw tension of the studio-live
recording still feels fresh even 25 years later. The musicians are Tsugutoshi Goto on bass; Nobu Saito on percussion;
Hideo Yamaki and Tatsuo Hayashi on drums;
Masae Nanbu and Keiji Matsumoto on keyboards; and EVE on chorus. Cutting is handled by Bernie Grundman.
