Widely regarded as one of the defining albums in the band's catalogue, it helped
establish the sonic identity that would carry The Pineapple Thief onto a global stage.
Formed in 1999 by songwriter & producer Bruce Soord, The Pineapple Thief have
steadily evolved into one of the UK's most respected modern progressive rock bands.
Since the original release of 'Tightly Unwound', the band's profile has grown
dramatically through extensive international touring, acclaimed releases including
'Your Wilderness', 'Dissolution' & 'Versions Of The Truth', & a run of UK chart success that has cemented their reputation well beyond the progressive scene.

This new 2025 mix, completed by Bruce Soord, revisits the album with renewed depth & clarity while preserving the tension & emotional weight of the original recordings. 

Previously available only as part of the 'Retracing Our Steps' Earbook, the 2025 mix
now receives its first standalone CD / 2LP release.
