The Sophtware Slump, Grandaddy’s classic album and one of the most beloved and prescient indie-rock records of its era, is back in print in a limited edition repress on “Dial-a-View Blue” vinyl. Originally released in 2000, Pitchfork called The Sophtware Slump “a sad, quaint, low-key Y2K-era classic,” and the album’s themes of technology, isolation, and environmental decay grow more relevant with each passing year.
