Snow Patrol - Wildness 1 CD Album + 1 Entry To Gig Bundle (Brudenell Social Club - Saturday 9th June 2pm) (PLEASE READ FULL DETAILS BEFORE PLACING YOUR ORDER) We are very happy to announce that Snow Patrol will be playing 2 very special album launch gigs at The Brudenell Social Club on Saturday 9th June. This is for the second of those performance at 2pm. They will be performing a live set of songs from their brand new album "Wildness". This is an all ages event. We have set up special bundles (in the drop down box above ) for this release where Snow Patrol Fans can purchase a copy of the album on CD and gain entry to this exclusive album launch gig at the Brudenell Social Club, Leeds. There is a limited capacity for this event so we would expect all the album and ticket bundles to sell out very quickly. The bundles are as follows: CD plus 1 ticket £13.99 PLEASE NOTE: No physical tickets will be posted or made available to collect, all customers who order any of the album + ticket bundles will automatically be added to an entry list for the evening where you will be checked off on arrival at the venue. Tickets cannot be transferred into another person's name and proof of ID will be required from the lead booker. One pre-order allows entry for one person to the gig. Should you require entry for two people to the gig please order two copies of the album  The name used when the order is placed is the name we will have on our door list at the venue. If that person orders more than one copy of the album they will then be entitled to bring guests with them. So for example if somebody orders 2 copies of the CD it will be their name x2 on the list. If they order 3 copies they will on the list x3. Seven years have passed since Snow Patrol's last album 'Fallen Empires'. In that time the band have all ventured off into a variety of projects. Gary Lightbody continued his work with his Tired Pony side project with members of Belle and Sebastian, R.E.M, Reindeer Section and Fresh Young Fellows and moved to Los Angeles to begin writing songs for movies and doing a number of high-profile co-writes with Ed Sheeran, Taylor Swift, Biffy Clyro and One Direction. Taking this extended break from Snow Patrol proved to be a source of inspiration, and writing songs that were not pulled directly from his own psyche helped heal what Lightbody considered to be not so much writer’s block as life block.In the meantime the band have been working on Wildness, Snow Patrol's 7th studio album. The album finds the band searching for clarity, connection, and meaning, while staying true to the melodic songwriting prowess that brought them to prominence. Wildness taps into something raw and primitive, and lead-singer and songwriter Gary Lightbody says of the album: “There are many types of wildness, but I think it can be distilled into two: the wildness of the modern age, all it’s confusion, illogic and alienation and a more ancient wildness. Something primal, alive and beautiful that speaks to our true connectivity, our passion, our love, our communion with nature and each other. This is the kind of wildness the album is centered around. The loss of it. Trying to reconnect with it.
