Long since out of press and incredibly scarce, Status Quo's (then 'The') Debut album, Picuturesque Matchstickable Messages From The Status Quo is finally reissued on double coloured vinyl, brought together in both mono and stereo for the first time! Originals of this go for vast amounts of money these days, so this may be the best chance to own a UK psychedelic classic as it was meant to be heard all the way back in '68. This album chronicles the very early psych bubblegum pop of Quo, long before denim clad rock became their new standard. Featuring early UK/US hits 'Pictures Of Matchstick Men' , 'Ice In The Sun' and the notorious pseudo matchstick single 'Black Veils Of Melancholy'.
