Tickets are now ready to collect for the Foals album launch gig at O2 Academy, Leeds on Thursday 23rd May.
As already stated on the original website listing and follow up email ALL tickets have to be collected from our Leeds city centre shop any time between Thursday 16th and Thursday 23rd May. This is the only way you can get your tickets.
Our opening hours are 9:30am – 6pm Monday to Saturday and 11am – 4pm on Sunday. On the date of the gig we will stay open until 7pm to ensure everyone can get to us before heading up to the O2 Academy. But there is no option to collect from the venue, so please ensure you call in to see us during the 8 days that tickets are available to collect.
When tickets are collected from the shop they need to be picked up by the person who placed the order on our website. We will either need to see the card that was used for the transaction or some proof of ID if PayPal was used. Tickets cannot be picked up by anyone other than the person who placed the order. This is why we are extending our opening hours on the date of the gig.
Tickets for this long sold out album launch gig can only be used by the customers who have purchased them. They cannot be sold on to anyone else or they will become invalid.
When you arrive at the venue please ensure you have your ticket with you and please be aware security checks will be in operation and bags will not be allowed in the venue unless smaller than A4 size. For full details of O2 Academy information please follow this link.
As for the gig itself. Doors are 7pm and although we haven’t had definite times given to us yet, Foals will probably be on stage before 8pm so please arrive on time. This is not like a proper gig with a support act, everything will run to earlier times. Foals will play their new album Everything Not Saved Will Be Lost – Part 1 in it’s entirety as well as previewing a few select tracks from Part 2 which comes out later this year.
We look forward to seeing you in the shop between Thursday 16th and 23rd May (please don’t all come at the same time!!) and then at the O2 Academy for the album launch gig. We think it’s going to be a pretty special night.
