Full Record Store Day information here:

As most of you are aware, Record Store Day 2021 will take place across 2 drop dates; Saturday 12th June and Saturday 12th July and we are now able to announce our arrangements for the first of those dates.

On Saturday 12th June we will revert back to our normal system of customers purchasing Record Store Day releases on a first come, first served basis. We will not be setting up an appointments system, but will of course have COVID-19 safety measures in place.

The shop will be open from 8:30am until 5pm.

For this first drop only, online sales will commence at 6pm on Saturday 12th June and that is why we will be closing earlier than usual to put any remaining stock online.

As in previous years we are expecting a queue when we open at 8:30am. However, we will be clearly marking out the pavement outside the shop to ensure social distancing takes place. We would request all early risers to please follow these important safety measures. We also encourage the use of face coverings when waiting outside the shop.

When we open at 8:30am a member of the Crash team will be on the door to ensure there are never too many customers in the shop at any given time and that everyone is able to enter and exit the premises in safety. Face coverings must be worn in the shop. Anyone who is exempt needs to let us know on the day and we will look at making suitable arrangements.

As always, we encourage people to have a list ready of stock they wish to purchase. One of our staff will take the list and check what we have behind the counter. Payment can then be made by cash or card. Please bring a bag with you on the day. There will be a 10p charge for any plastic bags that we supply.

Record Store Day rules are the same as always. Stock will only be available to purchase over the counter in the shop on a first come, first served basis. Individual releases cannot be reserved or pre-ordered and it's a very strict maximum of 1 copy per customer for anything that's on the list. There is no set maximum on the number of different titles that can be bought from the list.

We hope that covers everything, but if there are any further questions please email crash@crashrecords.co.uk We are not able to answer specific questions on stock quantities as this is information we are not allowed to share. However, we always try and get as much stock as we can, especially on the most in demand titles.
