 Psychedelic jazz supergroup Apifera are back fortheir second album on Stones Throw.

 When the musicians come together, they create anew kind of alternative jazz: a dash of prog, a twistof post rock, and a heavy dose of psychedelia,blended with the electronic jazz they are bestknown for.

 With several vocal tracks, ‘Keep The OutsideOpen’ showcases a new side to the group - theylet their imaginations run wild, wrapping personalstories from everyday life within fantasy andfictional characters.

 The members of Apifera are established musiciansin their own right: Yuvi Havkin releases electronicjazz as Rejoicer; Yonatan Albalak is frontman forpost rock / psych group Geshem; Amir Breslerleads afrobeat jazz funk group Liquid Saloon; andNitai Hershkovits is best known for his solo pianorecords, with a 2023 album on ECM.

 Closing track, ‘Sera Sam’, features well knowntrumpeter Avishai Cohen
