Originally self-released in small, sold-out runs, La vida de alguien más (2021) and Obrigaggi (2023) capture Diles Que No Me Maten at the height of their restless creativity—moving fluidly between krautrock-driven grooves, free-jazz chaos, and spectral, dreamlike meditations. La vida is a delirious 34-minute burst of post-punk urgency and improvisational turns, while Obrigaggi, recorded in a riverside house in Veracruz, drifts with intimate, otherworldly grace. Now reissued together for the first time with wide distribution via Moonlight Activities, these albums mark the band’s evolution from Mexico City underground favorites to one of the most adventurous experimental rock bands on the international stage.
