Unanimously recognised by his Brazilian peers, Henri Salvador is considered one of the major influences of Bossa Nova. His humour, elegance and unique musicality have had a profound impact on several generations of artists in Brazil.
The HENRI SALVADOR DO BRASIL project pays tribute to him and remains faithful to this legacy and to the unique place Henri occupies in the dialogue between French song and Brazilian music.
The album brings together the last great masters of Bossa Nova and some promising figures of the new generation, as well as renowned French artists. Recorded in Rio de Janeiro, the album includes fourteen tracks, with arrangements and musical direction by Marcos Valle.
In 2026, this tribute will find a natural extension with the creation of a new musical show, presented at major summer jazz festivals.
