The album took \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eÓlafur Arnalds\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cspan\u003e and\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e Janus Rasmussen\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cspan\u003e across four continents over the next 18 months, playing to sold-out audiences. Now the duo have entrusted five artists to completely reimagine it.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eII Reworked \u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cspan\u003ewill be released on vinyl and CD on July 3rd, with a digital release following on August 7th. The result is a sprawling and shimmering trip back through the record’s melodies, with a dream-like daze more suited for after the dancefloor and when the lights have faded. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cspan\u003eTalking about the project, Ólafur and Janus says: \u003c\/span\u003e“There are so many layers within this music, and we were curious to see what might emerge when other artists shone a light on them. Bringing together this dream team felt very special. It was fascinating to discover what each artist connected with and what rose to the surface through their perspective.”\u003cbr\u003e\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cspan\u003eNayar and Keith use electronic experimentation to reshape the emotional core, unveiling and highlighting stems that lay in the background of their original forms.
