Description
The Modulations released their album It’s Rough Out Here in 1975. This album featured the singles “Rough Out Here”, “I Can’t Fight Your Love”, and the title track.
The singles received considerable airplay and managed to chart on Billboard’s R&B single Chart.
The Modulations recorded extensively with MFSB, the house band of the famed record label Philadelphia International.
These sessions yielded to this album It’s Rough Out Here, which is considered a gem of 1970s soul music.
The group reached the pinnacle of its career with an appearance on Don Cornelius’ popular TV show Soul Train in 1976.
