Following the reflective Coming Up to\u003cbr\u003eConsciousness, the band returns with a darker, heavier sound, combining crushing riffs, ominous atmospheres and\u003cbr\u003egrunge influences with their signature vocal harmonies.\u003cbr\u003e“The last record was more chill, so it felt natural to do something grittier and more aggressive,” Courtney explains.\u003cbr\u003eCollaboration played a significant role in the writing, with founding member Greg Jong, Paul Mullen (Losers,\u003cbr\u003eYourcodenameis:milo) and Kenny Fitzgerald contributing alongside Courtney. Vocalist Annicke Shireen and\u003cbr\u003edrummer Ravi Kesavaram deliver powerful performances, while Mariusz Duda (Lunatic Soul) and Kristoffer\u003cbr\u003eGildenlöw make guest bass appearances.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe album explores angels as symbols of both salvation and destruction.
