And before\u003cbr\u003eI knew it, I was no longer searching for the man -- I was standing right in front of him.\u003cbr\u003eRanil and I hit it off immediately and ended up spending a month working together on\u003cbr\u003ethis project.\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eBorn in 1935 as Jorge Raul Llerena Vasquez, Ranil's story begins in the Peruvian\u003cbr\u003eAmazon, where the sounds of the forest mixed with stray radio waves from Colombia,\u003cbr\u003eBrazil and Ecuador. He quickly understood that breaking into Peru's music industry --\u003cbr\u003eespecially as an artist from \"the end of the world\" -- would be no easy path.
