He began his career in 1989 as a member of the acclaimed psych\/rock band Yura Yura Teikoku, where he played guitar and sang over the course 21 years releasing 10 LPs. His highly anticipated new album Yoo-hoo is has been released digitally on January 23, 2026 via Zelone Records, and is set to be released on July 31 on LP.
