Slotface - Film Buff

Slotface returns with their third studio album, Film Buff, via Propeller Recordings.

The album is a confident collection of pop-rock tracks filled with energy and catchy melodies. From the intense "I Used To Be A Real Piece Of Shit" to the more melodic "Impressions Of A Car Crash", Film Buff explores both fiction and reality, drawing inspiration from film and TV.

Vocalist Haley Shea describes Film Buffas an album where listeners can interpret what is real and what is fictional. She blends real-life experiences with stories inspired by Hollywood, creating a dynamic mix of fantasy and everyday life.

The album follows up 2020's Sorry For The Late Reply, marking a new era for Slotface. Although the band's lineup has changed significantly since then, the creative energy has grown through new collaborations and a renewed focus on live performances. With a strong collective of musicians and producers, including Simen Folstad Nilsen, Tobias Osland, Marie Moe, and Nils Jorgen Nilsen, each musician was given the space to develop their own ideas and contributions, resulting in a cohesive and dynamic sound.
