Miraculous Discovery of New Members! The new T-SQUARE has finally started!
In 2021, Masayo Ando left T-SQUARE. After 45 years as the band's leader, guitarist, and main composer, and having left behind many great achievements,
Ando's departure must have seemed to put the continuation of the band itself in jeopardy. The vacancy he left as a composer and guitarist was so great and so
isolated that no one could even sit in. This year, four years after Ando's departure, a gem of a talent has been found to fill the vacancy.
The new T-SQUARE will finally start with a five-member lineup, including two strong newcomers selected through the “T-SQUARE New Member Audition” announced
at the time of the band's 45th anniversary concert at the Tokyo International Forum, and Shingo Tanaka, who has supported the band for many years.
This album is the first release of the new T-SQUARE. The five members are Takeshi Ito (Sax, NuRAD), Kei Bando (d), Shingo Tanaka (b), Yuichi Hasegawa (k),
and Shuya Kameyama (g). New songs written by the new members are also included on this album. We hope you will take note of their talents!
You will understand why they became official members of the band.
