Glasgow favourites The Ninth Wave return after a short hiatus with their hotly-anticipated third studio album
"There's No Such Thing as Death", due for release via fellow Scottish rockers Mogwai's Rock Action Records on
12th March 2027.
Recorded in the summer of 2026 at Black Bay Studio in the Outer Hebrides of Scotland, and produced by Dan
Austin (Pixies, Massive Attack), the synth layers the band were known for have been replaced with a more guitar
driven sound. The result is unmistakably The Ninth Wave, but much more raw. “There’s No Such Thing as Death” is a brooding, moody, yet defiantly alive album.
