Wednesday 13 may not be the original horror punk, but one thing’s for sure: he’s an original. Poole formed and recorded four albums with the memorably-entitled band Frankenstein Drag Queens from Planet 13, then was recruited by Slipknot’s Joey Jordison to front the Murderdolls. But it’s his self-titled Wednesday 13 project, which he launched post-Murderdolls, that has proven the most enduring and influential among his many dark delvings into the demimonde.
