9.15pm Wormboys
Wormboys are a creepy, queer, moody four-piece from Leeds. The band formed when Sop and Harry met whilst studying Physics at the University of Leeds, and bonded over their shared love of “fuzzy weird sad-girl music” (such as Pixies and Sleater-Kinney). Listen here https://wormboys.bandcamp.com/
The group have since become stalwarts of the vibrant Leeds DIY music community, rounding out the line-up with scene veterans Jake (Milk Crimes, Heat Wrays) and Ruth (Not Right, Dispute Settlement Mechanism). They have supported the likes of Martha, SASAMI, and Flasher.
8.30pm Heat Wrays
Formed in 2021, Leeds-based
Heat Wrays play raw and immediate garage-inspired music. Their demo cassette features Television-esque guitar interplay combined with a motoring rhythm section. They are currently working on a debut album.
