Tomorrow (Saturday 29th August) is the first of the Record Store Day drops.
As already announced, we have had to make changes to the normal way we run things and have been taking bookings so that we can control the numbers that are in the queue outside the shop rather than have the usual large amount of people that have waited for us to open for business on previous Record Store Days.
We only have a few morning appointments left now, they are for 11:30am – 12 noon. If you would like to be on the list for that time slot, please email [email protected] and if we can fit you in we will.
The appointments system starts at 8am and stops at 12 noon. From 12 noon until 5pm there are no restrictions, although we will have a door control system in operation and a maximum of 5 people in the shop at any one time.
At 6pm we will be making all unsold stock available online, so if you can’t get in to the shop during the day be sure to check our website at that time.
If you have already emailed for a morning appointment we have already contacted you and will send a further information email later today.
Safety of staff and customers is of paramount importance to us, so we would ask everyone that visits us tomorrow to be patient and show consideration for others. We want people to spend as little time as possible in the queue and in the shop. Face coverings must be worn in the shop, but we also recommend they are used when standing in the queue. All Record Store Day stock will be filed behind the counter, so it would help us enormously if everyone arrives prepared with a list of what they want to purchase.
For full details of what releases are coming out tomorrow and price lists (which can be printed off) please refer to our previous post which you can view by following this link.
We look forward to seeing some of you tomorrow.
